International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella

2004-

The Cardinal Sinners competed once again in the quarter-finals of ICCA!  And this year we hosted it right at Wesleyan University!  The competition included five awesome groups from New England: Boston University Terpsichore, Middlebury College Stuck in the Middle, Yale University Redhot and Blue, Syracuse University Groovestand, and University of Maine Renaissance.

The concert was Saturday February 21 at 7 pm in Memorial Chapel (doors open at 6:30). 

General admission is $12, Students are $8.  Tickets were available until February 19 through the ICCA website and the Wesleyan Box Office--remaining tickets sold at the door as well.

2003-

The Cardinal Sinners won SECOND PLACE in the quarter-final round of the ICCA!! 

Sarah Kavanagh '04 also won BEST SOLOIST for her rendition of "Another Train"

And Sarah Kavanagh '04 and Robbin Friedman '04 won RUNNER-UP BEST ARRANGEMENT also for "Another Train"

 

We advanced to the semi-finals, held at Dartmouth on March 8th, and although our group did not place, Sarah Kavanagh '04 won BEST SOLOIST for her rendition of "Another Train" (again!!)
