Student Affairs Committee (SAC)

The Student Affairs Committee works to address a wide range of student life issues at Wesleyan. The broad focus of the SAC includes concerns related to residential life, student health services, alcohol and drug issues, campus climate, and fire safety. The SAC also has oversight of the Student Judicial Board.

Composed of seven students, the SAC works with members of the administration to help set policy and make other important decisions to improve student life on campus.

Each Student Affairs Committee member sits on a variety of sub-committees with administrators, faculty, and other students. The SAC serves an important role on the Student Life Committee and the Undergraduate Residential Life Committee, critical policy-making bodies. SAC sub-committees are described in more detail here.

The members of the Student Affairs Committee are first and foremost student advocates and would love to hear from you. Please contact us at wsa@wesleyan.edu or directly email chair Becky Weiss at rweiss@wesleyan.edu with any questions, comments, or concerns.
