Points of Interest:
University Tour :
The tours offered will show parents around
Wesleyan's campus and offer much of the same information given during an
English-language tour. Parents will have a chance to see dorms, computer
labs, and classrooms, as well as landmarks like the Davenport Campus Center,
Olin Library, and the Center for the Arts. Our tour guides are bilingual
volunteers who are familiar with the needs of Spanish-speaking parents, in
addition to Wesleyan's campus and history.
Financial Aid:
A representative from the Office of Financial Aid will provide a presentation in
Spanish about procedures and resources pertaining to Financial Aid. Topics
covered will include FAFSA and CSS profile forms.

Panel with Faculty, Staff,
and Students:
Presentation and panel discussion with students and professors about various
subjects including: academic expectations at Wesleyan, the concept of a liberal
arts education and of a major, academic resources such as the Math Workshop and
the Writing Workshop, the Career Resource Center and campus jobs, student
groups, political activism, and community service.
"Expresiones de Latinos"
Cultural Show:
(Fall Event Only)
"Expresiones de Latinos" is an annual event which showcases
presentations related to Latino politics, history, art, and other issues
students wish to explore through performance. Poetry,
dance, music, prose, theatrical presentations, and other forms of expression
give the show its name. This event is known on campus for the dedication
of the students who perform in and organize "Expresiones." Para La Familia
provides free tickets to the show as part of the Family Weekend.
