Finally, with much hard work and perseverance by staff and contributors alike, it is time to unveil the new Student of Color Webpage! This newly designed page first and foremost is for us by us, meaning that without all of your Submissionss we have no page. There are still the favorite sections from the original page like Student Groups, the PhotoGallery and Wespeaks with new additions to make this page a more beneficial site. Newly included are the Senior Side, News Stories and Personal Highlights.

Secondly it is important to note a change in the site's direction. The Student of Color Webpage is no longer the name of our tutorial, rather students will be able to take the tutorial now entitled Promoting Understanding Through Technology. The class will focus on building student's knowledge of the web in general and its uses for the student of color community specifically rather than strictly the maintaining of the existing website.

The webpage will continue to be sustained by a group of dedicated students apart from the actual class. In conclusion, the site has an all new look and an all-new function, Explore it, Enjoy it and remember without your Submissionss we cannot exist!

February was Black History Month and along with celebrating the numerous achievements of Africans in the diaspora, we must also acknowledge our local leaders and artists. Join us in highlighting the Black History Month celebrations that took place around campus. We have photos and articles inspired by the many programs that occured during the month in the Articles section of WesVoices. We invite you to submit your words and photos regarding the month's long tribute to African American heritage.

For coverage on the outstanding Asian Awareness Month, we encourage to turn to the extraordinary A/PAA site. They have a breakdown of scheduled events and many more fascinating things for your viewing at www.wesleyan.edu/apaa.

In the near future look for audio clips of many of the events covered on our site plus multimedia in our Beacon section.
