Vigil to Commemorate Iraq Deaths
One candle will be lit for every US Service Member who has been killed in Iraq. All those who have died as a result of the war will also be commemorated. After the lighting, there will be a chance for people to speak, and the names of every killed US service member will be read.
When: Sunday, March 30th
Where: In front of Olin Library
What time: 9pm
SEWI and Others Meet with Divestment Working Group
SEWI, the Wesleyan Student Assembly, Wesleyan Americans for Informed Democracy, the Environmental Organizing Network, the Wesleyan Republicans, and other students met with investment advisor Tom Kannam, Chair of the Board of Trustees Jim Dresser, and a divestment working group made up of three members of the Board of Trustees.
