In the 1999-2000 acedemic year SPS, with the help of Alpha Delta fraternity, was able to purchase a blimp, 2 motors and enough Helium to get it up at least once. Using home built technology we were able to attach a remote controlled camera to the blimp for the purpose of taking arial photos. This year we plan to attach the gasoline motors to the blimp in order to gain some degree of mobility.
