Melvin is an Analyst in Prudential Securities’ Investment Banking - Consumer Group. Prior to joining Prudential Securities full-time, Melvin was a Summer Analyst in the Investment Banking - Health Care Group and an SEO intern. Prior to coming to Prudential Securities, Melvin interned for J.P. Morgan’s Trading Credit Risk Management Group and was an Inroads intern.

Melvin received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Wesleyan University in 1999. While at Wesleyan, Melvin was involved with Ajua Campos, EL Foco Latino (Editor SP.98), and La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc. Melvin was inducted his freshman year. Melvin was also very interested in the histories of Student s of Color at Wesleyan. This interest culminated in two events, “The History of Latinos At Wesleyan Alumni Panel” (SP. 98) and a 30 year anniversary celebration of the Vanguard Class of 1969 (SP. 99).
