Born in the Bronx, NY, Miguel Guadalupe currently works for Merrill Lynch & Co. in the Equity Marketing Department as the Interactive Marketing Manager. He coordinates the on-line presence of equity campaigns for his dept, on both Merrill Lynch's internal & client-side websites. He also coordinates the advertising/marketing arm for the department. Miguel is the President of La Unidad Latina's New York City Alumni Chapter. And recently co-authored a procedures manual for alumni involvment within the organization.

During his time at Wesleyan, Miguel was elected Vice President of the Wesleyan Students Assembly, and also served as Co-Chair of the Students of Color Council, Student Representative to the Board Of Trustees, Member of the Student Issues and Priority Action Committee (SIPAC) under Pres. Douglas Bennett, and helped to found the Ethnic Greek Council, & "Caliente", Wesleyan's Student Latin Dance troupe. Politicaly Miguel became involved in the Anti-prop 187 campaign, and worked extensively to bring Latino & other ethnic studies courses to Wesleyan. He wrote a weekly column for the Wesleyan Argus, and his senior year was lead vocalist for Wesleyan's first-ever Salsa Group, "Mira Nena" - where, under the musical direction of John Speck, the group won "Battle of the Bands" and opened for the 1998 Spring Fling Concert. He was selected as the student representative to deliver a speech at the Inauguration of Wesleyan's President Douglas Bennett in 1996, and was awarded the Janina Montero Prize by the Wesleyan Latino Alumni Council in 1998. He is a graduate of the Calhoun School - a private high school in New York City.
