Classrooms at Wesleyan are being reorganized and diligently maintained in order to deliver the most effective teaching in the safest manner possible. We are upgrading classroom technology to support both hybrid and in-person teaching. Classroom capacity in 184 classrooms has been revised in order to achieve a minimum six-foot distance between occupants, and the fall semester schedule will be modeled to match planned classes with appropriately sized classrooms. Updated floorplans and maximum room capacity will be clearly posted in each classroom.

Faculty and students will be required to wear face coverings in classrooms at all times. In addition, break times have been expanded to 30 minutes or greater to allow for custodians to disinfect all classroom touchable surfaces between classes.
