  • In Person Campus Visits

We are currently offering on campus tours and information sessions Monday-Friday beginning at 9am and 1pm and tours only at 12pm on weekends.

Space is limited to registered guests. (Due to present COVID restrictions, we regret we will not be in a position to accommodate unregistered visitors.)

Should you need special accommodations, please reach out to Jordan Nyberg, Assistant Director of Admission Events, a few days prior to your tour.  The Admission Office has one wheelchair that visitors may use (with a signed waiver).

  • Virtual Programming

    Online information sessions

Our online information sessions are hosted by a Wesleyan admission dean and a current Wesleyan student who will provide an inside look at the Wesleyan community both academically and socially, as well as offer information about admission and financial aid.

    Information sessions are offered:

    • Thursday at 7:00 pm EDT

    Tours

Virtual tours will be hosted by a team of student tour guides.  They will 'walk' you through the campus using a PowerPoint presentation and will leave plenty of time at the end for questions.

Guests will be able to see the presenters and submit questions throughout the events using the chat function.  If you require closed captioning for a tour, please reach out to Jordan Nyberg, Assistant Director of Admission Events.

    Tours are offered:

    • Sunday-Friday at 9:00pm EDT

Sign up for a virtual tour.

If you are unable to join one of our live sessions, you can check our pre-recorded info session and campus tour video anytime!

  • Admitted Student Days

WesFest will be held on April 8, 15 and 22!  Admitted students can find links on the admitted student website.

We plan to offer tours, student and parent panels, department drop-ins, mock classes and so much more!  To allow for distancing, registration will be capped (admitted students may bring one guest).  Visitors must be vaccinated and boosted.

    Hope you can join us!

  • Interviews

Although interviews are not required as part of the application process, they are recommended. Interviews are evaluative, play a role in the admission process, and are a valuable opportunity for an exchange of information about both the candidate and the University.

Sign up for an interview here.

    • You do not need to have an application on file to request an interview. There are a wide range of times available including evenings and weekends between September 2021, and February 2022.
    • For transfer applicants, interviews are not required but highly encouraged. Interviews are offered Monday through Friday from June to the transfer deadline of April 1 for Fall Transfer. Interviews for transfer applicants may be scheduled through Loreen Carta.
    • Interviews with Wesleyan alumni volunteers are viewed and evaluated in the same light as those conducted by our senior interviewers. Request an alumni interview.
  • Day Visits

The day visit program is an opportunity for admitted students to shadow a current student for a morning or afternoon on our campus. Each day visit will include at least one class visit, lunch in the dining hall, as well as a chance to engage with a current Cardinal. This is a great way to see what life would be like, if you choose to matriculate to Wesleyan.

Admitted students can sign up for a day visit here.

  • WesChats

WesChats are a great way for high school seniors to explore Wesleyan and learn more about academics and student life in a relaxed, informal conversation with a current student.

WesChats are not formal admission interviews, but rather 30-minute video calls with one of our senior interviewers who will share some of their experiences at Wesleyan and answer your questions. These students can speak directly to your interests and describe campus culture and intellectual life. It is a great way to get a broad sense of student and residential life, academics, advising, research, faculty relationships, and the city of Middletown.

No evaluation or record of the conversation is part of the admission application, and participating in a WesChat neither precludes nor necessitates an evaluative interview later in the process.

    Sign up for a WesChat.

  • Text an Admission Dean

You can send questions via text or WhatsApp to one of our admission deans. Find each dean’s mobile number. To connect with us via WhatsApp, message us at +1.860.685.3578.
  • Group Visits

We are open for group visits!  Please see restrictions and other guidelines below.

    • Wesleyan will host only one group per day.
    • The maximum group size is 50 including chaperones.
    • No group visits will be scheduled during Spring break (3/12-20), WesFest (4/8, 15 & 22), or Finals/Commencement activities (5/5-22).
    • Late groups may forefit part of their visit experience.
    • We cannot offer on-campus dining, but can provide a list of local takeout restaurants.
    • All visitors must wear masks whenever inside a campus building.  Masks are optional while on tour.

If you would like to sign up for a group visit, please fill out this form.
