WesFest 2019!
Congratulations on your admission to Wesleyan University! We hope you will join us for WesFest 2019 - three fun-filled days packed with information sessions, tours, department open houses, keynote speakers, film screenings, student performances and a student activities fair! You can even spend the night with a current student to get the full Wesleyan experience! Online registration is not required, but strongly encouraged. Whether you register online or not, please remember to check-in at the Office of Admission upon arrival to let us know you've arrived, pick up a schedule and a little gift from us to you! Admission staff and regional deans will be on hand from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. See you at WesFest 2019!

Homerathon
A Classical Studies WesFest tradition! Come hear the glorious and gory adventures of Odysseus as Wesleyan students and faculty read all of Homer's Odyssey aloud at locations all over campus. The event will conclude at 5pm with a celebratory goat roast! Join as we slip past Circe, spear the Cyclops, and munch on roast beast (vegetarian options will be available).

James Cagney: Top of the World!
The exhibit James Cagney: Top of the World! in the Rick Nicita Gallery in the Center for Film Studies, includes posters, photographs, and letters illustrating the career of James Cagney. Cagneys acting career began in vaudeville and Broadway in the 1920s. He arrived in Hollywood in 1930 as a featured player in Sinners Holiday , the film adaptation of the Broadway play Penny Arcade , and stayed for 31 years. While Cagney is remembered for his tough guy roles in The Public Enemy , Angels With Dirty Faces , and White Heat , he won his only Academy Award for his performance as the multi-talented entertainer, George M. Cohan, in the musical Yankee Doodle Dandy . Highlights in the gallery exhibit include a rare half sheet for Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942), an original one sheet for One, Two, Three (1961) designed by Saul Bass, and a letter from Cagney to director Raoul Walsh, who directed four of Cagneys films .
