Health Professions

Health Professions Advising in the Gordon Career Center serves current students and alumni who are considering health professions such as medicine, dentistry, nursing, physician assistant, optometry, pharmacy, public health, and other related professions. The Health Professions Advisor, Mildred Rodriguez, assists students and alumni as they prepare for entrance to professional schools by offering opportunities to explore interests, skills, and goals. Many resources are available including individual advising, workshops, information sessions, personal statement review, and mock medical interviews to prepare applications for the professional school admission process. For those first and second year students who are considering what they might be doing now to prepare go to Getting Started and subscribe to the Health Professions Electronic Newsletter to learn about upcoming events and information sessions by sending an email to mrodriguez01@wesleyan.edu
