International Education Week (IEW), November 12-16, is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

The purpose of this collaboration between the Fries Center for Global Studies, Gordon Career Center, and Resource Center is to celebrate the diverse international presence on Wesleyan’s campus & to promote international opportunities available to Wes students, with the emphasis on cultural self-awareness, adaptability, and compassion with respect to the world beyond our borders. We will provide limited matching funds to student groups who want to participate in IEW.
