- How do I request use of a campus space?
You can request campus space by using Room Request via a link in your portal. You will find the link in your "Event Scheduling & Calendaring" bucket. If you have a last-minute request (within 72 hours), email events@wesleyan.edu.
- How do I download EMS Desktop Client onto my PC?
*Please note that the EMS Desktop Client is not compatible with Mac computers.

- I use a Mac laptop/desktop and manage departmental space. How can I access EMS?

- When finalizing a new reservation in EMS I receive the following error message: "One or more User Defined Fields are required". How do I bypass this message?
In order to complete a new reservation you must identify on which, if any, calendar you would like the event to appear.
- In Reservation Wizard click on the User Defined Fields tab
- Double click on "Which Calendar?"
- Enter a calendar (or enter "none" if the event should not appear on the university calendar)
- Click "OK"
- Note: you must select a calendar in the "Primary Calendar" field for the event to show up on the events module.
*If you choose for the event to appear on the calendar you must be sure that the booking status is either "In Process-Calendar" (if you are still working on the event) or "Confirmed-Calendar" if you are confirming and finalizing the event. Without this status the event will not link to the calendar.
- How do I request a new account or modify an existing one?
All current students, faculty, and staff automatically have access to Room Request through WesPortal. Full-time staff who manage departmental space should submit this form to events@wesleyan.edu (supervisors should submit this form in advance of new employees' arrival).
