Financial Aid Initiatives

Wesleyan is committed to enrolling a student body that is socio-economically diverse. To make a Wesleyan education even more affordable, we are very excited to announce the following financial aid initiatives:

  • No Loan
Most families who earn less than $60,000 (with typical assets) are offered a financial aid package with an additional $3,500 for freshman, $4,500 for sophomores, $5,500 for juniors, and $5,500 for seniors in Wesleyan scholarship that replaces the standard loan package.
  • Reduced Loan
Most families who incomes are between $60,000 - $80,000 (with typical assets) are offered a financial aid package with an additional Wesleyan scholarship that reduces the loan package to $2,250 for freshman (from $3,500), $3,250 for sophomores (from $4,500), $4,250 for juniors (from $5,500), and $4,250 for seniors (from $5,500).
  • Reduced Student Contribution
Most families with parental contributions of $10,000 or less are offered a financial aid package with a reduce student contribution from summer earnings.
  • Print Allowance Program

This program will provide a $25 credit for the 2018-19 academic year on a student’s Wesleyan ID card that may be applied directly toward photocopying charges incurred on university copiers throughout the year.  The credit will be applied to financial aid students whose parental contribution is $10,000 or less; high need independent students are eligible for this credit as well.  A review of your financial aid file indicates that you qualify as a recipient for the Print Allowance Program.
