Wesleyan has transitioned to distance learning until the end of the spring semester. This page contains the latest information and resources for teaching and learning remotely, including for those who are accessing services from off campus and those who are staying on campus but social distancing.

Wesleyan provides many applications via a virtual application environment. You can run these applications (apps) on personal devices without having to install them locally. Myapps.wesleyan.edu provides access to the following applications:

(Note that these applications run on either Windows or Mac-based systems, even if an individual application is Windows-only based.)

MyApps and Dragon require the use of a VPN client for off-campus access. Information about how to install a VPN client on your Mac is available here. Information about how to install a VPN client on your Windows machine is available here.

Google Meet/Zoom

All students have access to Google Meet in their Wesleyan Google environment. Additionally, all students can access Zoom, enabling them to schedule meetings.

Microsoft Office 365

All students have access to the full Microsoft Office suite (Office 365), including Teams. Students can log in to the Office365 portal with their Wesleyan username and password.

Other software for students

Some software titles are being made available by manufacturers without purchase, in response to the pandemic. Please consult the list Information Technology Services maintains for more information. Please note that students should also consult the ITS software page for titles already available for students.

ITS is maximizing user support throughout the department, including student staff, specifically to support student needs. The fastest way to obtain service is through the "Report an Issue" link at https://service.wesleyan.edu.
