Monitoring and Contact Tracing

If a case of COVID-19 is identified, early tracing and quarantining of contacts is critical in breaking the chain of contagion spread. The medical staff at the Davison Health Center will work with any Covid+ students to identify close contacts and advise on risk of exposure, symptom awareness, and quarantine requirements. Any student with a positive test for Covid-19 or symptoms suggestive of Covid-19 will be interviewed by the staff at Davison Health Center for the purpose of identifying close contacts.  Close contacts would be placed in quarantine to prevent them from infecting others during a possible pre-symptomatic phase.  At no time would we identify the student with Covid-19 to any contacts we interview.
