What do you love about Wesleyan?

Having attended Wesleyan, what I’ve come to appreciate most is the diversity of passions on campus. I love that there is no such thing as a quintessential “Wesleyan” student. There is a genuine culture of learning and creative experimentation throughout campus that makes Wesleyan a special place.

What inspires you/? What do you care about?

I definitely get excited about design. Design affects every aspect of our lives but is often overlooked. There is a misconception that design has to be revolutionary. I’m more interested in the slow process of how small intentional changes to an existing idea or process can result in a better version of itself, or evolve into something new altogether.

What do you do for fun?

I love trying new restaurants and recipes as well as tackling ambitious weekend baking projects. I do triathlons and hope to start playing squash again. I’ve also been exploring Connecticut since moving full-time to Middletown. I grew up in Manhattan so I feel like I’m playing catch-up on everything I wasn't able to do living in a city. I recently went to my first (and potentially last) monster truck rally in Durham. On weekends I’ve also been hiking and trying local craft breweries.
