Business Intelligence and Reporting
Business Intelligence initiatives are focused in three areas:
Working with University Relations, we have developed alumni data marts and use Qlikview as our reporting tool.
Working with Admissions, Financial Aid Office, Institutional Research and the Registrar's Office, we have created a Student Data Warehouse that tracks both applicants and students.
Working with Academic Affairs, Institutional Research and the Registrar's Office, we have created the Academic Data Warehouse for better understanding of departmental loads, majors and and academic outcomes. We are currently piloting the Consortium for Financing Higher Education (COFHE) Dashboard tool for graphically sharing the data with the campus community.
Our goal is to continue development and integration of all Business Intelligence across Wesleyan.
Additional Transactional Reporting takes place in all administrative systems across campus.
