Subject: Weather Update

To the Wesleyan community:

Extremely cold weather is forecast for the next several days. We encourage everyone to take proper precautions to stay warm, especially on Thursday when the most severe cold and wind chills are anticipated. Exposed skin will freeze quickly, so it is best to limit exposure as much as possible. Cover up!

Please be careful when walking outside on campus, as icy conditions are possible. The University’s Adverse Weather Policy states that employees should use their judgment about coming to work, and it provides additional information for employees who do not feel they can safely come to campus.

Please call Public Safety for assistance with accessibility or other concerns at (860) 685-2345. For emergencies, call (860) 685-3333.
