Written by Bess Wohl, Small Mouth Sounds (2017) delves into the world of a silent meditation retreat in New England and its diverse group of attendees. Over the course of their stay, characters quietly confront the challenges of communication, self-acceptance, and the shared yearning for human connection, demonstrating how silence can speak volumes.

Directed by Nina Jakobson '24 in partial fulfillment for honors in theater. Project advised by Assistant Professor of Theater and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Katie Brewer Ball and Assistant Professor of Theater Katie Pearl.
