Mohammad Geldi Geldi Nejad, known as “Oghlan Bakhshi,” a master of the dutar, a two-stringed lute, and an epic bard, will introduce a digital project based on a decade of study in Turkmenistan and fieldwork among Northern Khorasan bards during the summer of 2022 in Iran. He will also perform some Turkmen songs and instrumental pieces with a special guest performer, Zyyada Jumayeva. A light reception follows the presentation.
