Financial Aid Renewal for 2024-25

Deadline: November 15, 2023

*Please submit the CSS Profile and 2022 tax documentation by the November 15th deadline. The Financial Aid Office will contact students/families when the FAFSA is available for you to complete in December 2023.

1ST TIME APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID (US CITIZENS OR ELIGIBLE NON-CITIZENS ONLY):

If you would like to apply for aid for the first time, the student must email the Financial Aid Office from their Wesleyan email address to advise of the change.  

APPLYING FOR FEDERAL AID (E.G. FEDERAL DIRECT LOANS) ONLY

Please email the Financial Aid Office before you begin. Our office will then waive your taxes and CSS Profile, if you are applying for the Federal Aid.   However, if your file is selected for verification our office will require your 2022 W2s along with IRS Income Verification.

  • 1. FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA) 2024-25

    The 2024-25 FAFSA will be available December 2023.

  • 2. COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP SERVICE (CSS) PROFILE 2024-25

    Electronic processing takes approximately 3-5 business days. 

    You will receive a CSS acknowledgement form once your application has been processed.  Application corrections should be made on this form and submitted directly to Wesleyan. In lieu of the Profile explanation box, applicants are encouraged to submit dollar-specific details relative to any special circumstances that affect their ability to contribute to a Wesleyan education directly to the Financial Aid Office. 

  • 3. SIGNED FEDERAL TAX RETURN AND W-2(s)

    Submit 2022 tax documentation to IDOC: https://idoc.collegeboard.org/idoc/

    You will need to submit copies of 2022 federal tax returns, including all schedules and W-2(s).  The Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC) is a service of the CollegeBoard that Wesleyan University uses to collect all tax information and supplements associated with applying for financial aid.

    After completion of the CSS Profile, you will receive information regarding how to login to IDOC.   To submit the required documentation, log in to IDOC and upload your documents electronically (recommended) through your IDOC dashboard.
