Alcohol and Illegal Drugs

Wesleyan University prohibits:

  • Working while under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs; and
  • Unlawful possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs on university property or while participating in any University-sponsored activity.

Any employee is required to notify the Associate Vice President of Human Resources within five days of any criminal drug conviction. Violation of the University’s prohibition will result in discipline up to and including termination.
