Welcome to OISA

The Office of International Student Affairs (OISA) provides support and guidance on every aspect of international student life at Wesleyan – immigration, cultural, academic, personal, and financial. This includes advising F-1 students on federal immigration regulations to aid in maintaining lawful status. We are committed to supporting the personal and professional growth of all self-identified international students from orientation to up to three years beyond graduation.

The OISA team organizes the International Student Orientation (ISO) when students arrive and provides on-going support throughout each phase of their educational experiences. We offer programs and events throughout the year to help students make the most of the resources available to them on campus, prepare for internship and career opportunities, and meet other students also navigating academic life in a new culture.

We strive to empower Wesleyan’s international student population, promoting the benefits of a vibrant international educational exchange while supporting opportunities for connection to one’s own culture. OISA works in partnership with departments across campus to provide students with the information and opportunities to make the most of their academic, social, and professional experiences at Wesleyan University.
