Dining in Usdan

    Usdan Marketplace can be found on the second floor of the Usdan University Center.  With 600+ seats divided between two large seating areas it is the largest dining venue on campus, offering an array of options including vegan/vegetarian, kosher, classic comfort foods, artisan pizza and pasta, the mongolian style grill and traditional favorites such as the deli, grill, and more.  Executive Chef John Cyr leads the dining team in developing innovative menus that appeals to a wide variety tastes and dietary needs.

    Meals, points, Middletown Cash, and credit cards accepted.  

  • Usdan Café

    Located on the first floor of Usdan University Center, this a la carte café features a variety of grab-and-go salads, sandwiches, coffees and specialty beverages.  This space is closed during the summer.

  • Daniel Family Commons

     

    The Daniel Family Commons (DFC), located on the third floor of the Usdan University Center offers a spacious dining area with windows along two walls. Open Monday through Friday from 11:30am - 1:30pm during the academic year, this space is primarily a faculty /staff dining space.  Tables seat a maximum of 6 guests.   

    For lunch reservations please email dfcreservations@wesleyan.edu at least two business days in advance; you must receive a confirmation email to guarantee the reservations is confirmed.  Cancellations should be made 24 hours in advance whenever possible.  For full DFC dining policies please visit https://www.wesleyan.edu/dining/placestoeat.html

    Additionally, this space can also be used for private dinners, receptions, lectures and concerts. When not scheduled in the evening, the DFC is available for walk-in use by students, who frequently use the room as a quiet study or small group meeting space.
