Student Academic Resources

Student Academic Resources (SAR) coordinates programs for intellectual enrichment and academic support, including the Peer Tutoring Program and Accessibility Services. In addition, SAR oversees the Academic Peer Advisors, Peer Technology Specialists and Accessibility Interns, who are available to meet with students. SAR staff members also provide direct academic support to students throughout the year.

The goals and objectives of SAR are to:

  • foster a community culture that recognizes the relationship between intellectual growth and personal development
  • ensure that students know about and are encouraged to seek out appropriate services
  • share information among programs and constituents to ensure the provision of high-quality and accessible services that facilitate academic achievement for all students
