Tuition Increase for 2025-2026 Academic Year

The Wesleyan Board of Trustees voted to increase tuition by 4 percent for the 2025-26 academic year, to $72,438. The Residential Comprehensive Fee (RCF) will be $20,668. The Student Activity Fee will remain at $390, while the Green Fund Fee will be $25 per semester. The total cost of attendance will be $96,546 which includes books, supplies, and personal expenses. On average, Wesleyan students receive grants totaling $67,542.

Wesleyan recognizes that increases in cost of attendance can create financial difficulties for families and remains committed to increasing access to its education. The University announced in September 2023 that it would meet all demonstrated financial need and no longer include loans as part of its financial aid packages. In the 2024-25 academic year, 42 percent of students received institutional need-based aid totaling around $90 million.

“We continue to offer our students a pragmatic liberal arts education that empowers them to pursue their passions and contribute to the world,” said President Michael S. Roth ’78. “We’re committed to making this high cost affordable by meeting the full demonstrated need of all students enrolled at Wesleyan.”
