Nick Hastings is a Senior Principal and Senior Hydrogeologist with Woodard & Curran's Middletown, CT office, where he is responsible for managing assessment and remediation projects for a variety of industrial and commercial clients. Nick is a Licensed Professional Geologist in the states of Delaware and New York. As a Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) in the State of Connecticut, Nick also is authorized to direct environmental activities at eligible sites on behalf of the CT Department of Energy & Environmental Protection.

Nick entered the environmental field in 1987 after graduating from Brown University with a B.S. in Geological Sciences and has worked out of offices in Massachusetts, Australia, and Connecticut. Over the past 25+ years in Connecticut, he has volunteered for the Environmental Professionals Organization of Connecticut (EPOC) Education Committee and Board of Directors and serves on the Board of the Geological Society of Connecticut. In addition to teaching as a Visiting Instructor at Wesleyan, Nick is a regular guest lecturer at the Center for Energy & Environmental Law at the University of Connecticut School of Law.
