  • How do I join the session?

    Click the Zoom meeting link sent to your email or go to "join.zoom.us" and enter the meeting ID contained in your confirmation email.

  • Can I join the meeting from a cell phone?

    Yes, you may join the meeting from any smart phone (iPhone, Android, etc.) with access to the internet or Zoom app capabilities.

  • Do I have to have my camera on?

    No, you have the option to turn your camera on and off throughout the meeting as you please.

  • What if I don’t have access to a computer or smart phone, can I still attend the Zoom meeting?

    Yes, you may dial into the meeting via telephone. Use the phone number listed in the confirmation email to dial in and access the meeting via telephone.

    Please remember that if you access the meeting this way you will not be able to use video features, nor will you be able to see any other attendees video.

  • How do I access the breakout room?

    You will be automatically prompted to join your designated breakout room. Simply click the “join breakout room” button when it pops up on your screen during the Zoom call.

  • How do I ask a question during the meeting?

    Chat
    You may ask a question at any time throughout the meeting through the “chat” function. This is located at the button of your screen; simply click “chat,” type your question, and it will be sent to the panel and moderators.

    Please note: your question will not be visible to the entire group, it will only be visible to the moderator and panelists.

    You may also send your question ahead of time to alumni@wesleyan.edu and it will be answered during the Zoom call.

  • How do I access a Wesleyan zoom background?

    There are multiple Wesleyan Zoom backgrounds available on our website. Download a Wesleyan Zoom background.

    Simply double click on the desired image to open it, right click on the image, select “Save As” to save the file on your computer.

    Then, open Zoom, click on the “Settings” tab, select “Virtual background,” click “Add image or video” button (the plus “+” sign), then select your saved Wesleyan background image to be your virtual background.
