Middletown, Conn.Wesleyan University’s Dance Department presents the Winter Dance Concert, "FREEDFORM," on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 8pm in the CFA Theater, located at 271 Washington Terrace on the Wesleyan campus in Middletown.

This concert—featuring recent works by Jace Arouet '21, Gabrielle Baba-Conn '22, Zach Farnsworth '21, Abhishek Fakiraswamimath '20, Spenser Stroud '22, and Maren Westgard '22—is the culmination of a semester of choreographic investigation and collaboration between these student choreographers, the Dance Department faculty, and over seventeen student performers, facilitated by Associate Professor of Dance Hari Krishnan. "FREEDFORM" reflects the unique and varied interests and perspectives of its choreographers, and the six stand-alone pieces make for a diverse and engaging performance.

Admission for the performances of "FREEDFORM" are $4 for Wesleyan students, and $5 for all others. Tickets are available online at https://www.wesleyan.edu/boxoffice, by phone at (860) 685-3355, or in person at the Wesleyan University Box Office, located in the Usdan University Center, 45 Wyllys Avenue, Middletown. Tickets may also be purchased at the door beginning one hour prior to the performance, subject to availability.
