Subject: Wesleyan Firsts on Thursday morning NSO schedule
Welcome to Wesleyan. We are all excited about your arrival and look forward to the next four years.
The New Student Orientation schedule is filled with many important and useful sessions and events and I urge you to take advantage of all the resources available to you during these important first days on campus. You might be interested in attending the Wesleyan Firsts session on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. on the third floor of the Usdan Center in the Daniel Family Commons. It will be an opportunity for you to hear from current students about their Wes experience as first-generation college students. The session is at the same time as one of the Money Matters sessions but please note that a second Money Matters session is offered again on Friday morning (not Saturday as printed in the schedule). There will be further opportunities during the school year for first-generation students to gather if you are unable to make it to the Thursday morning session.
I hope to see you on Thursday morning but, if not, please feel free to be in touch with me or anyone in the financial aid office if you have any questions about your financial aid award or family finances or student employment. Your parents or others that you may have given us permission to talk with about your financial aid award are also always welcome to be in touch with us. Our office is eager to help you.
Sincerely,
John Gudvangen
