GSAS Student Accomplishments

 

Zuha Anjum, graduating GSAS major, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, Spring, 2025.

The Hindi-Urdu language program of the Global South Asian Studies Program participated in the prestigious Yale Hindi Debate 2025.  Raiza Goel took First Prize in the Native Category, and Naysa Abraham served as interlocutor.  Sean Stetson previously won Second Place in the Non-Native Category in 2023.

Sumedha Mahesh, GSAS major 2027, participated in the annual South Indian Thyagaraja Music Festival.  This prestigious, internationally renowned Festival celebrates the life of the great composer Saint Thyagaraja.  Sumedha performed in two musical productions, played violin for a dance production, and gave her own violin concert.
