The Allbritton Center is the hub of civic engagement at Wesleyan. We study public life, actively partner with the local and regional community, and teach practical skills for social impact. The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching has selected Wesleyan to receive its 2015 Community Engagement Classification.
The Allbritton Center for the Study of Public Life supports Wesleyan's tradition of the scholar-teacher by encouraging faculty research in a manner that directly benefits and enhances student learning. The Service-Learning Center integrates experiences outside the classroom with an academic curriculum taught within the classroom
The Center for Community Partnerships seeks to serve the development of both the individual and the community, guided by principles of mutual respect and shared responsibility through the Office of Community Service, the Center for Prison Education and the Green Street Teaching and Learning Center
The Patricelli Center for Social Entrepreneurship supports students and alumni interested in creating and sustaining programs, businesses, and organizations that advance the public good.
