Turath Program House
Turath
is an Arabic word meaning "heritage." With a housing capacity of eight, its mission is to allow any student who identifies as Arab, Middle
Eastern, or Muslim to empower themselves and maintain and reclaim their
identities. It also serves as the focal point of Arab, Middle Eastern, and Muslim
cultural and religious activities on campus. Turath sponsors programs
independently, such as the popular Henna Festival as well as many
programs in conjunction with the Muslim chaplain and the Muslim Student's
Association. All students interested in learning about and celebrating Arab,
Middle Eastern, and Muslim cultures are welcome in Turath!
