Little Three Championships!

Just a quick note of congratulations to our field hockey team, which won the Little Three championship recently with an upset over Williams. Under the expert coaching of Christine Kemp the team prevailed 1-0 and then went on to upset Middlebury. What a weekend! That’s the best weekend for this team in decades! Emily Smith ’29 was singled out for her exceptional play by NESCAC and the national field hockey association for division III.

The men’s soccer team also were crowned Little Three champions, also defeating Williams on the road. Aiden Londergan ’27 was honored by NESCAC as player of the week as the team won the Little Three crown for the first time in 14 years, as Coach Wheeler’s team beat the top ranked team in the country.

Many of our fall teams are having great seasons (looking at YOU volleyball), and I hope you will help me cheer them on in a few weeks at Homecoming.
