Legal Studies

Law and politics are deeply connected at Wesleyan. Our department offers courses in constitutional law, judicial politics, theories of justice, and more, taught by faculty who are active scholars of law and society. While there’s no pre-law track, Government majors interested in legal careers can build strong foundations through writing-intensive coursework and advising support.
