John Hulsey

 

John Hulsey is an interdisciplinary artist. His work has been shown at the Pompidou Center, where he won the Prix International de la Scam at Cinéma du Réel, The Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, the U.S. Pavilion of the Venice Architecture Biennial, Open Engagement at the Queen’s Museum, Human Resources Los Angeles, The New York Art Book Fair at MOMA/PS1, Angel’s Gate Cultural Center, Los Angeles Contemporary Archive, The New York TimesCreative Time Reports, e-flux conversations, and Cinéma, among other venues. He is a recipient of fellowships from the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, the Flaherty Film Seminar, Harvard’s Film Study Center, and the Sensory Ethnography Lab.
