Olga Sendra Ferrer
Sendra Ferrer’s main area of interest is modern peninsular literature and culture. Her research and teaching focus on the intersections of urbanism, architecture, literature, and photography in Spain during the Franco dictatorship, and how these interactions develop during the 20th and 21st centuries. Her articles on these topics have been published in Catalan Review, Arizona Journal of Hispanic Cultural Studies, and Divergencias. Sendra Ferrer’s current book project delves into the urban (re)construction of the Barcelona of the dictatorship through the literary and the photographic production between 1950 and 1970.
