Rosemary Elizabeth Ostfeld

Dr. Rosemary Ostfeld is an interdisciplinary environmental scientist and founder of Healthy PlanEat, a sustainable food tech startup. She completed a BA/MA in Biology and Earth and Environmental Sciences at Wesleyan University, an MPhil in Environmental Policy, and a PhD in Land Economy at the University of Cambridge as a Cambridge Trust Scholar. Her doctoral research focused on exploring the impact of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, a multi-stakeholder initiative designed to improve environmental sustainability in the palm oil industry. Her postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School focused on public attitudes related to climate change, renewable energy, and negative emission technologies in Scotland. Outside of her academic research, she has contributed to reports produced by the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and Carbon Disclosure Project. She has volunteered for the National Academy of Sciences Science and Entertainment Exchange, and local committees in her hometown. She is a National Geographic Explorer.
