Visit the Zilkha Reading Room
Need a place to think, read, or just be? The Zilkha Reading Room, located in the South Gallery of the Ezra and Cecile Zilkha Gallery, offers a welcoming and relaxed environment where guests can gather, rest, and read through a selection of materials related to the Center for the Arts’ annual programming. After hours, the Reading Room provides an intimate forum for public programs that help us explore the depth of inquiry and connections between the work presented in our venues.
For Educators and Schools
Teachers and students are at the heart of our community programs. The Center for the Arts offers enriching, hands-on arts experiences that connect to classroom learning and support the next generation of creative thinkers. Working with the Jewett Center for Community Partnerships, we offer several programs that open the resources of the Center for the Arts to regional public schools, including the High School Humanities Program, Fourth Grade Tours, and our annual Middletown Public School Exhibition. For more information on these programs, contact Rani Arbo.
