Graduate music composition student Manuel J. Perez III presents a contextual concert. The recital A Line Between Two Points features an evening of curated works that meet at the liminal space between memory, lived history, sociality, and spontaneous performance.

A Line Between Two Points explores how emotions can influence all of the creative decisions that happen before, during, and after musical creation. Each piece/performance for the evening has been selected to highlight the emotional and social connections between everybody in the space, including performers and audience members alike. Expect to hear some wonderfully rich and beautiful sounds from all of the wonderful performers. The concert is going to be a fantastic night.

Featuring works by Perez, Alvin Lucier, Joachim Andersen, Randall Thompson, Rebecca Saunders, and Ben Vautier.

Performed by graduate music students Perez, Nat Baldwin, Parsa Ferdowsi, Tobias Haus, Zheqin Li, Katarina Mazur, and Ryan Seward; Sam Boston '25, and Gibson Bernath '23.
