Author, curator and dramaturg Marie de Brugerolle gives a talk entitled “Post-Performance Future Method/e: a perspective.” A pizza lunch will be provided.

Marie de Brugerolle is an author, curator and dramaturg. Challenging linear history, her work investigates the margins, entangling theory and practice. Gossips, speculative archives and re-enactement are part of her method. Champion of Guy de Cointet (1934–1983) she organized his firs exhibitions, monograph and re-enactemens: Who’s That Guy? 2004, MAMCO Geneva, Who’s That Guy? 2010 and documentary film Who’s That Guy, Tell Me More, 2011. Since 2011, her concept Post-Performance Future investigates the impact of performativity upon the visual arts. The book Post-Performance Future, Method (2023 réed. 2024) was celebrated at the Pompidou Center, Paris (Liv®e Live, oct. 2024). Professor at ENSBA, Lyon she is regularly invited (UCLA, Los Angeles, Royal Academy London, Oxford). She contributes to Art Press, Mousse, Flash Art and catalogues (Mike Kelley Ghost and Spirit, 2024/2025). Her novel Polyspherus was published by Ishtar, Brussels, 2021. In 2025, she curated WORD IS ROUND, Frac Nantes. She is guest editor of John Baldessari Transatlantique 2025, E.R. publishing, Paris.
