Reunion & Commencement 2013

On May 26th of 2013 785 undergraduate students received their degrees at Wesleyan University's 181st Commencement Ceremony. The Ceremony included a Commencement Address delivered by Wesleyan alumnus Joss Whedon, a Film Studies major who graduated in 1987. Along with Whedon another Film Studies graduate, Majora Carter, was presented with an honorary degree. Carter graduated in 1988 and has gone on to great success in efforts to promote sustainability and urban revitilization. The video of Carter's speech can be found here.

During Reunion and Commencement weekend film majors, their families, alumni, and friends of the Film department gather for a breakfast, to watch Senior Theses films, and to take a tour of the Rick Nicita Gallery.
