Wesleyan ITS makes many software programs available to the campus community, for use while at Wesleyan and for use with Wesleyan-owned computers. Please consult the following lists for more information about software available.   • Software for Students

    Licenses vary depending on manufacturer and titles.  We are fortunate to be able to license several titles for installation on student personally-owned computers. Below is a list of software we are licensed to install on student-owned computers.

    JMP

    • JMP is a complex install.  Please see the Helpdesk on the first floor of Exley for assistance with this installation.

    Microsoft Office

    • Office365 makes it easy to download Microsoft Office applications to use on your devices while you are a student.  Login with your Wesleyan email and password and click on the Download and install link.

     

    SAS

    • Like JMP, this is best completed with assistance from Helpdesk staff.  

     

    Adobe

    • Wesleyan's campus license for Adobe only applies to faculty and staff machines. However, students can purchase their own license to Adobe products through our contract with Adobe University.
  • Virtual Applications

    Wesleyan provides several applications via a virtual application environment that is available from on-campus or via VPN. You can run the application on your personal device without having to install it locally. Myapps.wesleyan.edu opens up a portal with access to the following applications:  (Note that these applications run on either a Windows or Mac, even if the application is Windows-only based).
