The World Music Archives & Music Library (Olin 327) provides equipment for students and faculty to use our music and video collections on campus. In addition, students and faculty may check out recording equipment and external disc drives to play media on their own computers.

Media equipment accommodates playing CDs, cassette tapes, vinyl LPs and 45s, VHS cassettes, DVDs and Blu-rays, as well as limited digital capture for some formats. Please email us at musiclibrary@wesleyan.edu to make an appointment to use the equipment (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm).

External drives, portable recording devices, headphones, LPs, and CDs can be checked out at the Music Library office. Use this link to see what equipment we have available to borrow. We preferred that you make equipment requests in advance by emailing musiclibrary@wesleyan.edu. Sound and video recordings may be requested through OneSearch.
