With traditional bookstores shuttering and ebooks on the rise, publishing is an industry in transition. Good stories, however, still have a cultural impact and can attract an audience in any format. Join literary agent and Wesleyan alumnus Luke Janklow to discuss the state of publishing, the rise of ebooks and the cultural impact of strong storytelling in publishing and beyond.

A literary agent at Janklow and Nesbitt Associates, Luke Janklow represents an eclectic list of authors with multiple talents ranging from imaginative storytelling to broadcasting, cooking, politics and rock-and-roll. A graduate of Wesleyan University with a degree in Cinema Studies and Art History, Luke is engaged by the worlds of film, television and digital and is focused on what the publishing industry will look like in the near and far future.

Moderated by Andrea McCarty, Charles W. Fries Curator of the Wesleyan Cinema Archives.
