How We Practice Democracy: Together
This four-year initiative brings higher education institutions, students, scholars, and community organizations together in a space where we stop studying democracy from a distance and directly practice it in three ongoing steps.
The nation’s founders created American democracy in a shared act of independence, and it only survives if we preserve it together. Renewing Democracy’s Promise is our reminder that our freedoms are a continuous collaboration, the action we take to strengthen those liberties nationwide, and the nonpartisan, inclusive space celebrating our partners’ civic thinking and engagement.
