Moderated by Associate Professor of Anthropology Gina Ulysse, this panel will highlight the multilingual and interdisciplinary nature of the performance work supported by The Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics. The panelists will include performing artist, playwright and actor Carmelita Tropicana; the Managing Director of the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics Marcial Godoy-Anativi; and Jennifer Celestin '07, who was a 2013 participant in the EMERGENYC, the Hemispheric New York Emerging Performers Program.
