This is the first in a series of concerts featuring the chamber music of John Spencer Camp Professor of Music Neely Bruce, especially music for string instruments and song cycles. The program for this virtual concert will include the Grand Duo for Cello and Piano and the song cycle “Whitman Fragments,” with baritone Christopher Grundy and cellist Alex Waterman.

This Is It! was a series of seventeen concerts of Neely Bruce’s piano music, which concluded in March 2019. This Is It! 2.0 was originally scheduled to start in April 2020, but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
